At 400 mA I can't help but think that diode has shifted up in wavelength. Probably closer to 515nm. Especially after getting warmed up. Nice looking laser still.

hmm are you sure its 505nm and 150mW or its it the Sharp 505nm 35mW overdriven to 150mW

Yeah it looks a lot closer to 515 now in both vids, I have a feeling at 50 mw you couldn't get it to light the match so you pushed it harder and harder until it did, being able to set a match on fire is not always the best advertising strategy
If you could have captured the lovely 505 colour and showed it as a 50mw 505nm this would also be effective!

If this diode fails for any reason, please let us know as it helps further our information on the specs of these newer diodes. So far, no one knows for sure how well these new diodes will hold up to being heavily over-driven. Any new information is welcomed.
