New Custom LOC Rckstr Labby Build!!!

My latest build is a LOC Labby in my costum enclosure. I set the rckstr driver to the max 440mA, for power I am using 4xCR2 3.0volt primary batteries = 12volts. For heatsinking, the diode has a aluminum finned heatsink so does the rckstr driver, At first I wasn't going to use a heatsink on the driver but after running the labby for a few minutes the driver got very hot so it definitely needs it. I also built a cr2 battery holder into the enclosure using a spring and a small piece of sheet metal as the contact points. The other labby is my remote controlled LG 8X BluRay in the same custom enclosure but this one has a cooling fan and my LOC doesn't it has the original plug in port that I can check the current with my DMM !

Can any of you guys estimate the mW's for me?
rckstr@440mA+12.0volts=mW's?

Are you using a rkcstr v2 or v3? Nice heat sink! Where did you find such a heat sink? That would be perfect for the project i'm working on.

Nice looking builds!!! Does the red really need 12V? Reason I ask is a linear driver like the rkcstr simply turns any excess voltage into heat, hence your need of a heatsink. Puting the CR2's in series/parallel would give you 6V with more current available from the batteries. You would certainly have enough voltage this way if you used rechargeable 3.6V CR2's.
