A time ago some kids were throwing down big stones at cars on the road from a mountain just buy the way. What would happend if someone died? Then the "fun" would stop. I'm only soon 15 but I think Im really responsible, you learn from mistakes.

I think that is an age old issue - there were problems like that in Floida a few years back - folks were tossing cinder blocks off the over passes....it didn't stop until someone died - very tragic - I blame the parents in that case - but I am sure that comment will cause a stir...guess I am really old school

Not true! The drawing was May 15 and the forum winner was announced May 16! We also announced the other two winners had been chosen but would not identify them without permission. The contest is legit![/quote]

So - how did it come to be that there were petrified grapefruit hurtling towards your car at 65mph ?  

I hate to drive next to semis. In general (not all fit this category) they're rude, careless drivers. If they want over a lane, they just go, and you should just move. Anyway, I was going through a curve in the road. Semi was there in center lane. I was in left lane, about 10 feet behind. He hit the chunks of rock. Two of them flew up. One went straight back, and into the driver's side tire of an SUV that was tailgating him. That one rolled under her tire, and flew into my bumper, putting the hole in it. After I heard that thump, I noticed the second one flying up and over my head.
s'funny how time slows down in a situation like that. I had a chance to actually look at the rocks, and see them in slow motion.
It'd make a great movie scene.
