Thank you laser pointer foums' members. New to the forums and pretty new to lasers, besides blinding myself with the one DX Greenie I currently have! I'd like to thank you all for the information you've given me already, I hope to learn lots more, and build a few lasers of my own. Senkat I'd read about you over a few other forums just doing random laser googling before, hope to meet you and the others soon!

I'm already eyeballing a few BR lasers and will prolly be picking up some new glasses and cases soon! WHY does this stuff have to be so expensive? And why do people keep thinking I'm a crazy weird-o that waists money on shiney bright lights!?!?!?

"WHY does this stuff have to be so expensive?"... haha, any cool hobby is an expensive one ;D But you've defiantly come to the place where you will find the BEST deals.

Why do people think you're a crazy weirdo who wastes money on lasers? I don't know, ask them, I have the same problem. ;D

Oh, and to answer the questions you already asked:
Many lasers are expensive because of what they are made out of, and others are expensive because of the new technology.
And people ask me why I spend so much money on lasers also, so it's not just you ;)
