NEW 2013 DISCOUNT PRICING -LaserBee A Laser Power Meter
UPDATE June 29 2013
Discontinued and replaced by LaserBee 3.7W USB
_________________________________________________
This new entry level Power Meter is named the LaserBee A for Analog....
It is a very small 3-1/2 Digital Display Non-Data Logging LPM.
( 2.5" X 4" X 1.5" )
It features additional circuitry that enables True Zeroing by way of the
Zeroing control on the exterior of enclosure that other hobbyists LPMs
don't offer.
We had left a 1.5W laser on the Sensor for 20 minutes to let the
Thermopile radiator heat up a bit then removed the Laser beam
and let the display drop to below Zero and stabilize there.
The Zero control was easily able to Zero the reading to take another
Laser power reading immediately.
There is room inside the enclosure to easily install our DL2-Module to
turn it into a Data Logging LPM which can read higher powers than
the on board 3-1/2 Digital Display.
Our DL2-Module will be discounted at $69.99Cnd when purchasing it
at the same time as the LaserBee A. Contact us prior to placing your
order for availability of the DL2 module.
It is to be noted that the DL2-Module is to be installed by the buyer.
You can read up on the DL2-Module here....

The LaserBee A uses our same large 2.5W rated Thermopile and
mechanically stable Radiator as used on all our other LaserBee LPM
products.
The entry level LaserBee A runs off a single standard 9volt battery
and draws a mere 30mA...
It also uses an LDO regulator on the PCB to ensure stable readings
even if battery voltages sag or change with use.
Note that the installed 3-1/2 digit LED display will only display up to 2
Watts (2000mW).
We have an unlimited supply of these latest Generation Laserbee A
LPMs to offer to any LPF members and they are in stock and ready
to ship.
Feel free to contact us by E-Mail only with any questions....
