Need smiley help!!

I cant figure out how to put smilies in my signature ive tried everything from copying the code to typing in the ; D nothing works

thats weird, it should work? the wink smiley looks like this ; ) but with no space between the eyes and mouth, the others are similar.

hmm aperantly ive been putting spaces.. now if i can just get more then one in a row to work..
