Need help with finding the correct laser for rough conditions!

I am looking to experiment with attaching a laser to my machine to hopefully help driving a straight line. It would be best if I can see the entire laser beam, not just a dot. I would need it to extend around 500ft - 1,000ft. The machines grind up asphalt from the roads, so it is very rough conditions. There is a lot of dust & vibrations. I could build a rubber mounted bracket to eliminate most of the vibration though. There are many times where the stripes on the road are not straight. I was thinking if a put a laser on as a guid it would help out tremendously. I'm sure by now you can tell I am very new to lasers. I would appreciate any ideas or suggestions offered. Since this is more of a test right now, I would prefer to keep the cost down as much as possible.

Thanks again,I look forward to your feedback.

One problem: no matter what direction you're driving, the laser will project a straight line. If you want a guide as to where you're going, that's fine.

If you want a guide as to where to go, perhaps a laser on a tripod would work better?

The lase3r would be used only on straight roads. The tripod might come in handy though. Do you know what kind of laser I would need?

If you are using the laser at night it will work geat, but in the daylight it won't be visible. See this

Thats strange. I could nit see it from my work computer, but I see it on my IPhone. I am opening now. Thanks for your help!

Do you have ad block running, I know when I have ad block running in chrome and I block some of the ads on this page you tube videos also get blocked.

Well, if there were for sale yes. The last time I checked there was a big wait for them

thanks. The only green laser i want is a rugged water-proof laser. This way will probably let Jet Laser know their Ti is in demand. I wonder what makes them production, or is it back log.
