Hi

I am working on a project to measure the height of the exit burr on the back of the surface.

I have an idea above that using a conic mirror to collect date from burr height and reference.

My question is what kind of laser is good to use?

Thanks

I agree with Paul-- you can buy R-G and V pen pointers for less than $9usd.(for all w/Free$hip)
NONE should be considered to be 'eye safe' so use the good grade of eye protection is the #1 concern--
what you want to do sounds like something that could be an accident waiting to happen.

we would like to see some pics of your project (as well a pic of your eye protection)

best wishes lase safely

PS pen pointers need to 'rest' same amount of time as duty. like 2 min on/2 min off)
