Need help my new 1w blue laser has gone weird.

My new laser was fine and working yesterday but when I used it this morning it had turned into a giant circle and had no power at all. Also if there is any way to show pictures please tell me how. Thanks

Cheap ebay laser I guess? Sorry bro, it LED'd. Basically, the laser diode doesn't lase anymore. Nothing you can do, except a diode swap. Sorry :/

how long did u use it before? remember 1w heats up quickly if its a cheap host and poor heatsink u might have killed the diode..

If it's a 1W blue then it uses 1 or probably 2 rechargeable Li-Ion batteries, be sure your batteries are charged, and you must charge them before first using them because they always ship uncharged. If that isn't the problem then you either exceeded the duty cycle or something failed or broke.

Its possible that it LEDed, but it could also be the focus. Check that the lens has not come loose in the focus adapter. If the lens is stuck in the host, in a completely defocused position, it will give a big circle and the light wont appear too powerful.:beer:
