need help fast !!!

i just sold my laptop on ebay for 320.00 and i sent the invoice to the buyer i just got an email from paypal saying this ....

You've received a payment, detailed below. We’ve placed a temporary hold on the funds for this transaction.
PayPal and eBay are working together to make payments for eBay items even safer. Because we want both buyers and sellers to feel confident about sending and receiving payments through PayPal, we may temporarily hold payments for items sold on eBay.
Make sure to ship the item right away, so you'll have access to the funds sooner. We’ll release the hold in 21 days unless you receive a dispute, claim, chargeback, or reversal on the transaction subject to the hold. We may release the hold earlier if either of the following occurs:

- The buyer leaves you positive feedback on eBay.
- We confirm that the item was delivered.* We can confirm delivery if you ship the item with USPS, FedEx, or UPS and either use PayPal shipping labels or upload tracking information from the transaction details page. This applies to transactions within the United States.

Jake, Log in to your paypal account and click contact us.  On the next page click call us and it will generate an identity pin and telephone number. Then call them and ask why the hold was placed. Usually you can get an answer and a solution by proving shipment. (Also, first make certain that this is not a phishing scam). Paypal will always address you personally by name in the email. Emails will never be addressed to "Dear Paypal User" or anything similar. Unfortunately, Paypal is a behemoth; and because of the way they are structured, they get away with lots of stuff that a bank would be unable to get away with, so they could make you wait. Also on a separate note, anyone who buys anything with Paypal is protected by the Consumer Credit Protection Act if they use their credit card to fund the Paypal payment. Your credit card company would reverse the charge if you do not receive the goods that you purchased (even though you are paying through Paypal). This WOULD NOT apply if you fund the paypal transaction with your bank account.     Bill

Good advice WRM,
This is @ anyone who reads this thread, if you ever get an unexpected e-mail from paypoo, do not click any links on it, go to ebay and log in to your paypoo account from there. If the e-mail is genuine you will find the information on it there.

Always assume it is a scam, it should ensure that you avoid problems.

well i got an email from my email not on ebay :-? so i called ebay/paypal people and they said just to send the package with tracking and where they have to sign and insurance...but i did log in to my paypal and it says ON HOLD till i show proof that i had shipped it..... idk just sounds weird that i got the email like that to ship the item first

This is normal. It's a new thing there doing to make sure the buyers are happier.
So basically there tired of having call's from un happy buyers.
So what they do is hold the money till the buyer receives his or her said item, And paypal checks to make sure they got it. Then they will release the money within 24 hours of Confirmation.
I Dislike like this alot as sometimes i need some money fast and then i have to wait like 1 week to get my money. And ebay is Dumb as hell now. You have to have like 4.1 dsp or w/e they call it to sell.
WTF eBay !! This makes me very irate

Also, When this happens to me i will tell the seller what is going on and the process i will do.
I refund the seller and tell him/her to send the payment again through paypal only.
There happy with that and i get my money right there. So everyone is happy.
And the buyer is still protected also.
