Here's some pics of the 500mw, 405nm laser I got from SurvivalLasers in action illuminating some fluorescent art. Like I said, it does a great job. The art in these images is a 9foot x 12foot painting that's made with standard pigments, fluorescent pigments, and phosphorescent pigments. Since the art is so big is really shows the laser well when the beam is unfocused.
My intention is to use the laser to illuminate a much smaller piece of art - approx 3'x3'. Even unfocused the laser dot at 3' is too bright to photograph with my camera.
Thanks again for all the help here. I know my needs for unfocused lasers are bit of a different direction than the usual around here.
