Need advice about buying a laser

So im thinking about buying a laser and it looks suspicious

The question i have is its listed as 0.5mw but it needs a 3.7v lithium battery it sounds like its more than .5mw can someone have a look and let me know what they think thanks

It looks like they have no idea what they're selling. They can't even spell laser right. It looks to me like a 5mW green laser.

And much like any other eBay "5mW" laser it's probably going to shoot out some 20-30 mW, maybe more, giving you a false sense of security.

What kind of battery powers the laser is utterly unrelated to it's output power.

You are very likely to get some 20-30mW greenie out of this simply because of the manufacturing process. It's the easiest power target to hit with cheaper lower quality assemblies.

Not necessarily a bad thing, though, you could see the beam at night easily and all.
