Hiya.

I'd like to offer my services as a Flash Developer ;) I've done some professional work, and I've got some more lined up, but I'd still like to get some more things in my portfolio.

So that's why I'm offering to do some ads. I know some of you guys have your own businesses, so I have an offer to make. I'll gladly make any Flash or animated ads you want, of a professional standard, at no charge :) Just PM or email me (see my website, below), and I'll make anything you want ;)

Why am I offering this? Well, it isn't out of the goodness of my heart :) It's because I'd like to have some satisfied customers and work to look better on my resume (and some rep and laser discounts wouldn't hurt either).

This is just for ads. If you need ANY other flash work, I can do that too. I can do websites, games, ads, anything. However, that may incur a fee ;)

Also, you can check out an ad example in my sig, just to see what you might be getting. But I can make anything you want.


Oh, and as a side note. The only reason I have gotten into this laser hobby is from all the money I've earned from Flash development, all my lasers are gotten from Flash money :) That's just a little fun fact :)

You know, how about I share what I've been working on for the last 8 months. There isn't a link to it on my site, because it isn't finished yet.

It's a complete RTS game in Flash :) Like starcraft? I've made an engine in Flash that can just about match starcraft ;) I'm currently doing graphics and making missions for it and it's still in development.

But you can check it out here: http://murudai.com/dantal/index.html it plays like any old RTS game (left mouse button to click things and move selected units, use space bar to deselect units). Most likely things will break and not look good as it's still in development, but you can try it out :)

Note that what you can see is only scraping the surface of what this game can do already. I'm just yet to make missions to use all these features ;)

So yeah, lucky you guys :) Exclusive look at one of the most advanced standalone Flash games out there ;)


spyrorocks, I'd love to make a banner for that site. Exactly what did you have in mind? Might want to grab me through PM or email, and we'll talk ;)
 
pretty fun game there. add in some sound effects like a cool laser sfx when u shoot!
 
Tiny? Might be something with your browser then. The text on my homepage is larger than the text on these forums.

(Unless you think the text on the forums are tiny too :o )


I'm fairly sure Flash can't do that, going to pages like that. That sounds something more for PHP. You might get a Java applet to do it, but I don't know Java :)
 
Nice.

spyrorocks, may I suggest for that site that you shorten the page a bit :) For such a site with limited content, you shouldn't have to scroll down to see anything. It will make the page look neater, and that's always nice.
 
It fits on your screen nicely, yes.

But you aren't advertising the site for you are you, it's for the consumer, and all the consumers out there might not have uber resolution screens ;)

That's just something to think about it. You don't have to listen to my inane ramblings, lol
 
Actually, I haven't seen a screen below my resolution of 1280x1024 for a while now, come to think of it.

My english skills are pretty bad, I need someone to write me up some proper text for the homepage that sounds better then the crap I have in there.

Murrdai, did you make any sort of concept banner designs for my site?
 
I have heaps of lab reports due at the moment (chemistry). I'm very, very busy.

I have some free time right now though, so come back in 6-8 hours ;)
