If you want a green that meets specs... look at the higher end Laser
Suppliers that advertise on the Forum...

Just so you know at that price range you will not get a 200mW green laser. You will however get many lasers claiming to be 200mW that may at times peak at 200mW and most likely settle around 100-150mW tops. For a >200mW laser you are going to need a C-mount driven style green laser. You are looking at $275-600. There really is no point in building one yourself as the module at times costs more than the complete laser. If however you are interested in a 100-150mW laser there are plent of people here who can build one for you for <$100 the only issue is waiting for the parts to arrive form China.

No... Rayfoss is not that bad... and they have very good prices...
O-Like is another good bargain supplier.. I have never been disapointed
with either of them...

Where "Marcusss" got his Rayfoss failing as a company info seems to be a mystery...

OK. I think I'm gonna get the rayfoss green after I buy a 100 MW blu ray from a member.

Boy that is a big Blu-Ray... a 100 Mega Watt

MW = Mega Watt
mW = Milli Watt ;)

I agree completely with Jerry. I have several RAYFOSS GREEN LASERS, & for the price I paid, I think I got a very good deal. They all (the ones I own) put out at LEAST what they're supposed to, some of them put out MORE mW's than advertised. I'm a very satisfied customer of theirs........... rob

lol I'm usually really anal about that, not sure why I messed that up... But yeah, should I get a blu-ray laser (I saw a burning video, so it should be powerful), adjustable, with 2 batteries and a charger included, or for the exact same price should I get a 100mw green from rayfoss? It's the adjustable one that takes cr123 and some other kind, and costs $80 shipped.

I had the 100mW RAYFOSS up for sale just last week. Sold it, with Goggles for $75.00
You gotta keep your peepers open, pal !!!

mmm no offers I take it, I suppose I will just buy the Rayfoss laser I linked and hope it is a genuinely decent spec'd one.
The thing about rayfoss failing was a genuine article from this forum, not sure where but its here somwhere.
