My Replacement True DX 30

Well my replacement Dx True 30 arrived today, I asked DX to verify with the manufacturer that they would send me a unit that was up to spec this time, or give me a refund. Guess what T.E.M.01 right out of the box argggg after 7 minutes or so on it goes almost to TEM00, one thing is for sure it's the best TEM01 i've seen with all my lasers really precise. The one it was supposed to replace was a new wish, this one isn't. The difference between the two are as follows. Newwish model: the barrel does not line up with button, this one does, Newish: internal spring that is used for support of the circuit board and act as case positive contact. this one has a piece of foam stuffed under the circuit board. Newish: longer silver endcap where the lens is. I would also like to note the first 30mw I got that mode hopped was not the newish model and I upped the voltage to 4.5v and all problems vanished. This will probably be my last DX laser and i'll start saving for a real one.....

strange that you've had so many problems with these lasers, maybe the post office is playing football with your DX envelopes or something

of the 5 DX true 30's i've inspected none mode hopped and all were reasonably within specification

Damn, some people have some tough luck with DX.I only got one DX laser and it works well.But hearing all this stuff, I think it's my last DX laser too.

Funny you should say that, I recently got a new job in shipping(more money for lasers yay ) and I was shocked to see them throw printers and LCDs in the truck like they were trying to score 3 points.
