my novalasers x125 suddenly stopped working?

my 125mw green laser from nova all of a sudden stopped working when I tried to light a match. the match did not light, but did smoke a little. I tried replacing the batteries, but that did not work. I just got it and used it for less than an hour before it stopped working. Any ideas?
 





If the match smoked a bit but you didn't see it working then it's probably because the crystals are misaligned, it could've been hit during shipping (or by you).
 
also, it sounds like ther is something loose inside the laser. what could this be? is it something I could fix, or should I just return it to nova for a refund? thanks.
 
It sounds like one of the crystals have fallen out, like Niko said.

Basically it's not changing the IR light into green light any more (532nm) so that's why it's still smoking matches as the IR light is coming though, DO NOT look in to the laser.

Yes I would send it back for a replacement :)
