Ok, so I made two different labies. I turned the silver case into a green I'm guessing at around 90mw. It starts to burn the skin after a while but not hot enough to burn objects. This uses a simple adjustable lm317 driver.
The black one is a 445nm. I switched the heat sink over from the silver one. This uses a driver I made based on the lm317. It uses a 2k ohm 10 turn pot I mounted on the back of the case. It has a counter dial so you can make super fine power adjustments. I also put terminal power inputs and an on off switch on the back.
