My mW # for my SDLaser302 is in red?

Hi, I just got this SDLaser302 <500mW 532nm green handheld laser for really cheap but the "500" part of the 500mW is in red. What does this mean?

You can just see the red 500mW, it was 230 Yuan

Well that's probably the least helpful pic you could have posted. There aren't a lot of Chinese speakers on these forums and so far as I know you can't run an image through Google translate.

Anyway, up to 60% of a 532nm laser can be in the infrared spectrum, which is nearly invisible. They are probably telling you that their 500mw reading includes that infrared.

Like Ablaze said it probably is Mostly IR thats why it's so cheap

Ahh okay well thanks for the help, and about the picture, I though he meant just a picture of the laser and that was the best one I could find. The writing is just advertisement.

Well Im kind of new to the whole laser thing and I thought that the red writing was just some sort of code or something in the 'laser' world. XD

I don't know what pictures you guys need to do whatever you guys do, sorry and also I dont really care if its under-spec or whatnot it was less than $50 which IMO is an amazing deal even if its only like 50mW, doesnt seem like it though because it burns me when I point it at my leg after like a second and is uber bright at night and day.

The reason it's burning you is probably because it's putting out a bunch of IR
