My Laser Concept

Sorry for the link, I don't have a YouTube so I hope no one minds going to FaceBook.

This is a short video I put together of a concept laser I think would be cool to make sometime. A friend owns a machine shop so I'll probably talk to him at some point to see if he's got some time.

Nice concept design. You can contact sinner or eudamonium about machining a custom host like that for you although that design will be really difficult to reproduce. I really like it though.

What software did you use for the animation?

Thanks. I used Maya for modeling the laser and animating. Nuke for a couple of the lights & depth of field.

I also don't use Facebook but I am able to view it. The next video with the jet should have run a couple of seconds longer. Nice Host.

The video is public so everyone should be able to view it.

I would have made the video of the jet longer and I did for a second but it looked a bit too close to be real and people would see its fake. I had 10 hours to make an example of a plane flyover for a customer of mine to show something of what it could look like. Thanks!
