Hi all, I've build my first laser. It's a 405nm Blu-Ray laser.
The output power is 150mW. I know it looks crappy but here are
some pics of it.
I've used some toothpics to hold the lasermodule and the battery

It was a DIY kit, so it was easy to build the driver.

Nice job there....if it lases than it works!;)
You may want to heatsink that Aixiz module if you want your new laser to last long.
Keep building and read, read, read....your on your way!

That will do great. Really you just have to have something aside from the Aixiz module.
Still great to see a homemade...My first laser was a 405nm as well, housed in a plastic box for push pins.
Keep up the good work, don't forget to get yourself some safety glasses though, even that laser can cause severe damage in miliseconds.
