My first laser build

Success!

I recently purchased a kit for my first laser from modwerx and it werx

I used the sf-aw210 6x blu-ray diode 405nm.

I tested it with a couple of homemade circuits then I installed it into this module. I also added the 405-450nm AR coated lens they sell.

Then I wired it up to the rckstr ~55 to 440mA driver and set it around 160mA.

My first laser:

Any suggestions for a good host? Nothing too tight since I'm still a noob. This module is around 18x45mm.

I just finished my first host:

It's a bit large but it works.

I took two laser pointer/led flashlights from radioshack and made a frankenhost out of em and a few other bits I had laying around.

It runs on 6 AAA's right now.

I'm happy!
