This is the first Laser driver. i am using the ddl i am unsure of what the LD is. got this unit working. just dont like the 250k pot. it is way to touchy. so the ld will not be connected till i get a pot that is not so touchy. at full with this pot. testing at the red diode i have in place. i get 235ma. yes i know i need to make a better test load. and will be doing that very soon. pictures of unit below. the circuit is using the lm1086 instead of the lm317.

yes n no. got a few days before i can get there. tryn to figure out whats goin on with my mazda. sometimes it will start and others it wont. is like its not gettin gas or somem on that line of things.

Just so happens I know a ASE certified mechanic with 35 years experience, that might be able to help you find the problem.(or tell you how to find it, at least)

i know it has an intake gasket that needs replaced. is how i got the car lol. but what it is doing is acting like either cam position sensor, or air flow or fuel injection module. fuel pump. got bat dc'd gonna try and start it in the morning. see if it starts. its done this before. just before i got it.
 
on the other note. got all the parts for the test load. from a power supply out of a UPS i had setting around. just converted it into a power strip. and got parts for almost two more drivers. after i get the pots. it will be two additional drivers.
 
well got it running off of a 9v. 235ma is the photod range. the numbers i see on this one are 46tbc

i have switched the pot already to a 1.5k there abouts. was off a printer board. got it set at about 160ma. that is where it is its brightest anyhow. now just need to get a module or housing for it. what would be the best lense set for the red. looking into upgrading the laser already lol.
 
Jayrob's 650-G-1 or the Hi-power lens assy. from LarryDWF are the best ones out there.
You can expect 20%-30% increase in power with either of these lens.
