Hey all, great day for me.
I finally got a 445 nm together, and working!
WOO! And DAMN, it's bright. I'm pushing the diode at 1.35 amps, using one of Moh's "Just Add Diode" kits I got while they were on sale.
Got my CR123 rechargeables (ultrafires) and my goggles (radiantshades)... Put it all together, soldered, and bam, blue light!

Also, this build is a windowless A140 diode... It broke, and I decided to keep it, as according to pullbangdead, the facets on these diodes are in fact coated...so they don't degrade once exposed to air! I managed to even get the window out in one piece, so no glass particles floating around in there!
I also have a 6x blu-ray build on the way too in a Coleman max host. (running off of 184 mA, using a Ghostdrive V2) I'm just waiting for the batteries to arrive then it'll be done!
