my first 445 build (Pic heavy)

This is a laboratory build I made using a Ham radio dummy load and a driver I bought from Dhom

O and wile I was taking that last picture I accidentally burned my camera strap. (it burned it 2 yards away.)

Here is the driver I used

This laser Is running at 250mW at about 400mA.
When powered up it produces a brilliant Indigo colored beam.

Yea that's right Indigo
NOT BLUE :na::na::na::na: to my eyes I see no blue in it.

You should use rhd's wavelength-through-a-diffraction-grating calculator to actually measure the wavelength.

Mine appears blue or violet depending on a number of things. How much light is in the room, how much dust/smoke is in the air, what angle I'm holding it at, how close the dot is too me, etc. Also, using 1x18650 for less power as opposed to 2x16340 it appears very violet a lot of the time.

When the room is fogged up it looks bright Violet when theirs no fog it looks indigo.
