My DX True 30mW has gone into TEM002 ( I think )

Lately I noticed lots of splatter around my dot and a ring floating outside the dot.

I drained my batteries and had a look from relatively close up to discover two little dots.

My question to you is, do you think I should keep it anyway (its my only green) or should I put my spare 803T and flexdrive in (I planned to use the 803T and flexdrive for a MXDL side button build, but after getting the heatsink the flashlights sold out everywhere... )

Alternatively, I might put a 50mW o-like module in so that I still have a green laser (thanks Aus customs ) and then get a new pointer style host (GB ) for my 803T and flexdrive.

Try re-charging your batteries all the way & then see what happens, & don't be embarrassed, it happens to almost everyone at LEAST ONCE You may want to CAREFULLY CLEAN your lens also, that might help cut down on the splatter

GO FOR THE 10440 BATTERIES! ya might get some use out of it before ya rip it apart and put that flexdrive in!

The batteries are fully charged and I put a new pair in just to check

This diode will be laid to rest and replaced with an 803T, I think.

At least I will get my blu ray up and running after 6 months of having an 803T around.

Im going to use it for a green for a little while, but you can really notice the brightness decrease and the two dots.

Have you tried shining it through a lens so you can see what the dot(s) look like expanded?

Yeah I shone it through a magnifying glass, it looks like 2 dots.

Oh well, look like o-like is getting some more business
