Mrcrouse host- dx module

Hey guys! Joe here!

I was bored yesterday. I just got a host from Mrcrouse a bit ago and don't have a diode or driver for it yet. I have had this 200mw module from DX that I figured I would toss in. This is only temporary but its now a pretty cool laser.
The host takes two 18650's but the module takes one so I had to make a batt spacer.
I got a cool shot in the backyard with it hitting defraction grating!

cool pics. that host looks like a mace. it probably has good cooling. the grating pics i like too.

That's a pretty unique looking host! I think I've seen it once so far. That thing would probably be considered a weapon before people even figure there's a laser in it. What diode will you be building in it later on?

Im thinkin either a 520nm or 473!!

In that case you're probably best off putting a nice 520nm diode in it. It fits the green host and 473nm diodes are a pain to find as well.

Yea thats pretty much what i was thinkin! Save the 473 project for my krypton groove!
