I'll look into this soon as xmas is near but it's a definate on my cards. I do fully understand that this is not a toy like the mosquito so a large learning curve is essential. Thanks Gazoo your a top man as always 8-)

Yes and a big learning curve too..lol. It does also require a lot of research as to what to buy.

So far I can only hover my Airwolf and move it around a bit. I would shop around as there are lots of other manufacturers that make helis...as I am sure you know...and you can probably get a RTF brushless off of e-bay for a good price. You could always get a scale body that will fit most of them separately...even with wheel retracts. Best thing to do is read up on the RC forums.....I really don't know what to recommend these days as it has been awhile. But the advantages to brushless motors, lipo batteries, good ESC,s good receivers, and a decent transmitter will make your flying experience much more enjoyable and easier too. :)

BTW, you also might want to get a pair of protective glasses. If a rotor or something were to fly off and hit you in the eye you might get injured...just a suggestion. I always wear them when flying my helis, but the risk is greater. I have carbon blades and they do not have as much pitch as the regular plastic blades, so they spin at a very high RPM. Plus I only have one good eye as it is so I need to be extremely careful.

Thanks Gazoo I'm google-ing as we speak ;) I hope that any other helicopter enthusiasts takes this info on board too :)
