Module arrived.

This wont be much of a post but it'll be updated with pics and such when I am finished. My 405nm 450ma module from DTR came in today and I couldnt help but test it with a 18650 battery and WOW, works great! Host should be in tomorrow and I just gotta take a look to see where the solder points are for the 501B and ill have me own first build (well kind of anyways) laser! Also this will replace my 400mw fried diode that has become a bit infamous on this section of LPF lol..

I may need help if its not obvious where to solder my connections once I get the host.. not sure if the ground is the host or if the host has a spring for the positive, etc etc.. we'll see though. Thanks for the offer. and also, I am still getting around to getting that nx-50p to you appreciate the patience, I have realised I cannot fix it on my own at this point so our discussion still stands. Thanks man!

Sweet. Yeah as I said no rush. I pretty much always have time for lasers. Just let me know when to expect it otherwise I am really lazy about checking the mail.

Im thinking this laser is putting out 400-500mW. But it has better beam specs then my previous.. cant wait to add photos and put it in a host, i keep lasing with it just as a module making sure I dont over heat it.. Its hard to explain the excitement when you're obsessed a I am with lasers:yh:
