This is my build out of the new 3xAAA tail clickie Husky host from Home Depot . I used 3 10440 batteries and a ddl driver. It is a pretty tight build with the ddl and some minor machining is required, but very doable as a 2'nd or 3'rd build. The heat sink is a machined to fit fender washer glued in place with epoxy. The end result is a very good sized blu-ray. It is small enough to carry in your pocket, yet big enough to have a good solid feel in your hand. The best part about it, is the fact that you can use a cheap ddl driver in a pocket sized blu-ray.

Here are a few pics.

For size reference.

The main parts. The diode/sink & driver are all part of the head.

Thanks!! I couldn't pass it up for the price..

The whole build was less than $40 and I got three brand new spare AAA's out of the deal too...

are you using two 10440's and a spacer?
what type of driver and how did you manage to mount it in what looks like a tiny space.
Sorry for all the questions, but i have a similar build i'm considering.

The answer to all three of your questions is in the second and third sentence of my post.. I used 3x 10440 and a ddl driver.

And as I said. It's a pretty tight build, but very doable as a 2'nd or 3'rd build if you have some tools and imagination.
