Micro flexdrive v5 question.

So I was wondering, can I set a max current output for the flexdrive? Say that I somehow set it to 800ma, and then when I turn the potentiometer the max it can go is 800ma. I am asking this because I've been thinking to wire a bigger potentiometer to the driver so I can control the laser's brightness. Can this be done, or is there a better way to do this?

I have never used the flex drive. I can tell you that the Black Buck 8M is easily configured to that range using the modulation input. Just 1 pot and 1 fixed resistor.

This is how you bridge the Flex to achieve the desired mA settings. As Anthony said the BB8 has those connections for a potentiometer
