Make DPSS ruby laser worked!

I think I have successfully made the DPSS ruby laser worked. Using 405nm high power laser diode, and small ruby (3.5mm diameter and 5mm long), the ruby lased. The following pictures show the result. (the left small red point)

Sounds about right. I saw a ruby military laser fire back in 1965. It popped a blue balloon.

You can buy ruby easily, but it must be cut to small part and coated. It may cost much

So end pumped? What the input and how did you couple? Basic reflector or something special? Hr pass 445 reflect 695 oc 2% 695? Where did you get the optics or just flat high pass dichroic.
