PCB for OLED

2cwtsmb.jpg

excuse the crappy (not to scale) paint diagram

The idea of having surface mount solder points for angled headers to the right of diagram are:

1. prevent shorting out from the Ophir head via the header pins
2. stronger mounting than having pins go straight through the end holes.
(managed to lift a copper strip on my prototype when pin trimming)
3. No solder mounds on the under side due to protruding pins

Otherwise it could be made to look like this..

If the PCB was made 38mm wide the same as the other PCBs & Ophir it would look neat.
Any thoughts?

The OLEDs header pins to front of sensor, same as the picture in post #62 so the orientation stays the same.
And the OLED sit's flat on top of the custom PCB and sensor
I'm not concerned about tilt now, as I will still be able to view the screen, & this method makes better storage being cubic.

How about this idea for mounting? +momentary switches for Trevor's LumenOS being that there are headers for switch functions.

So how do I get my LG GPad V500 to pair with the cubic? Says "no near by Bluetooth devices found" Running on KitCat Cyanogen Mod 11
