I finally heard back from DragonLasers the other day, so here's the official scoop!:

I've listed the specs of the 5mW orange Spartan below

Batteries - 1 x 18650 Li-ion lithium
Duty cycle - 1 min on and 30 sec off
Mode - CW
IR filter - yes
Dimensions - 26mm x 180mm
Mode - near TEM00
Beam diameter - 2mm
Divergence - >1.8mm

Diameter and divergence do vary a little from laser to laser but normally
around the values given above.

So now the info is finally on the forum for all prospective buyers.

I decided upon the LaserGlow Rigel-6 in the end as beamspecs are paramount in my low power lasers and both Tom and Scott at LG gave excellent customer service.

For those interested in getting a 594.1nm Yellow HeNe Laser... LaserSam of Sam's RepairFAQ has ONE, just one, 3mW (high output for yellow) head available for $275. If you want it as a complete unit with power supply the cost comes to $350. Get it while it's hot!
