I'm looking for good fast charging charger for 3.7V 750mAh 16340 batteries (for Thor M2), I dont know almost anything about charging Lithium based batteries
I cant decide between Ultrafire WF-188 and Xtar VC2, they both (I think) have charging current of arround 0.5A, I heard that there are chargers that can use bigger charging current to charge batteries faster, but I dont know what is just best for 16340 bttr. and I dont know if there are better chargers than these. If anyone can recommend best charger for me I would be very thankful!

EDIT: Also if anyone need to know I'll be using RCR123/CR123 Protected AW 750mAh - 16340 batteries for this laser, from what I know they are very good quality.
:thinking::thinking:

Leon, did you check to see if you can run CR123 battery's as they I believe are only 3V.
I would recommend the NiteCore i2 charger as it's been proven and priced nice..

I didn't phrase it right, i'm talking about the CR123 battery's only outputting 3V each. If your Thor M2 needs 2 battery's the total output is only 6V which might be bellow to what needed. What Thor M2 did you purchase?

CR123 batteries are primary cells, 3 volts, and not rechargeable. RCR123 are the 3.7 volt rechargeable version.

Soooo are those right for the laser? Or you would recommend other batteries?
It says RCR123 so they should be ok, right?

It seems your wanting to buy your batterys from Gun and Tactical store which only carrys those RCR123 and CR123's..The 3W Thor you ordered will not run or not well on them.. Do your self well and find another site and get some true 16340's at 3.7.
The NiteCore is a good choice:)

Edit: Wizard i'm seeing a RCR123A that runs at 3 to 3.2V that might be an issue as far as ordering?

So i should be looking for batteries without RCR123 mark? Or you just mean to buy from other producent (nitecore) I read on some Polish forum that these Protected AW batteries are really good quality (The producent keeps the specs 100% true compared to other batteries) and that they were really recommended not by one but by many ppl

If it were me I would avoid the RCR123's CR123's as to many chances of ordering mistakes.."Plus some RCR123's are rated at 3.6V" which isn't a big issue but still"
AW are very good and if you have a AW 16340 source I would by them.
Either charger you order both are good.

You might also consider the Opus BT-C3100 battery charger. Gearbest has them at a discount and they are much better than the Nitecore chargers. I have both.

The ones that are 3.2 volts may be lithium iron phosphate cells. Not sure about the ones that claim 3.0 volts though.

I bought 4 of these exact same batteries for the exact same laser and they don't work. I wasted $24 bucks. I know, I have not introduced myself to LPF but I am just trying to let this guy know these Nitecore batteries did not work with my Thor M-2. I realize you are also looking for a charger. Two questions.

No problem....
You can introduce yourself whenever
you are ready... and it would be helpful
if you included your Global location in
your Profile...:yh:
