Hello.
Saw some graphs of how long time and lumens for several models of LEP. But seems to be the duration of their battery emitting the light.

Assuming the battery is of 'infinite' duration or external power supply; and temperature and whatever other parameters are kept correctly; when would the light emitter be 'spent', in how many hours of continuous use ? A laser has a certain number of hours longevity at rated specifications, that can be stretched operating under maximum rated current. So some applications demanding laser longer life run higher powered devices under their maximums. Is that the case for LEP ?
Is there a set subforum for this or is it fine to post here ?

Any link to 'anatomy' of LEP will be appreciated.

Thanks. How come the reply above refers to LED factors and compares to LEDs instead of comparing to laser diodes ? Is it of A.I. source ?

Yes it was the first thing Google AI came up with.
Since it didn't suit you I will delete most of it leaving only the longevity point.

Anything made with a laser diode is limited by the number of hours the diode is supposed to be good for under the data sheet operating conditions.
Research it for yourself but keep in mind general broad questions about no specific target product get general broad sweeping answers.
Maybe ask the manufacturer of whatever LEP system you are talking about the question and describe the use you envision.
