I want to cut a rope from 100 feet, what would you guys recommend??

A pair of saftey goggles for you, and all around you as thats gonna need a few watts at the very least.

Don't think you can purchase such a powerful laser unless you are the government/university of a country and need it for military/research purpose.

If you have $20,000+ then you could buy lots of dpss lasers then combine them. But it is quite impractical.

I recommend 1 Watt 405nm labby on an adjustable mount with a 10x beam expander.
With this setup it should completely cut through a 1/2" diameter rope at 100' in about 5-7 minutes. Note: You have to slowly move the laser across the rope during the burning, and minute adjustments at that distance may prove to be almost impossible without a beam-table mount with fine x-y-z adjustment.
