LM317's are good for any voltage/current limiting work, blu-rays AND reds.

true that things but these are rated at 100ma's max thus making good for blurays, they are super small which i need for my blurays

These look different from the LM317s im used to seeing, do they work the same?

That sort of sucks they max out at 100ma, but oh well will be good for blurays.
