LIVE recording of me covering a song on my talkbox

I just recorded a live cover of the song "Best I Ever Had" by "Drake" today.
Using my talkbox
I really like this video for it really puts what I do into perspective
"behind the scenes" if you will



And the lyrics since the lower octave is VERY robotic and hard to decipher

That's the tube from the talkbox, which is connected to the keyboard. I play the keyboard, the sound is sent into my mouth, I then shape the raw sound into words with my mouth Essentially, the synth becomes my new vocal chords.

It's only good for singing really. You can hear how much better and clearler it sounds once I hit the higher notes. Unless of course I was doing some Daft Punk style type stuff that actually requires the robotic lower octave.

This setup would probably cost you around $400-600 depending on what kind of deal you can get on everything and/or used stuff.
