Ok I'm new here so please forgive me if this has been answered all ready, I didn't see one when I was searching. How powerful of a laser do you need for a good Liquid Sky effect?

"good" is subjective, and brightness varies with color. Try different powers for yourself and see what you like.

Every color has a different amount of perceived brightness to the human eye. You need to be specific about what color you want to use.
