I have a green 200Mw laser that i brought not long ago and i was wondering,
How long can it last?
i read at Sam's Laser FAQ that most common green lasers last about 100hours or so, Is that true?

Cheers,

I have had them last from seven minutes to many hundres of hours and still counting.

There are WAY too many variables to place this kind of estimate on any particular laser.

We like to shoot for 300 hours. That's 18,000 minutes. Divide that by how many minutes a day you actually have your laser "on."

100 hours is 6,000 minutes. 6,000 / 365 = is just under 17 minutes of actual "on" time, every day, for a year. With a 60 second on - 60 second off duty cycle, that is 34 minutes of "playing" with your laser, "constantly" every day.

Peace,
dave

Hahah, Thanks for the Info!

I'm guessing i still have about, erm.. 346days of "playtime" with my laser.
