Len was spamming competing site via private message. When questioned, he acted innocent. However, the evidence showed he was actually trying to get around filters in the PM. It appeared he knew what he was doing was wrong but did it anyway. mfo also banned for PM spamming. In one of his PMs he even mentioned not wanting to be caught! But he did get caught.
As seen in this poll, any logical thinker would be upset if they were me:

I try and keep LPF as laid back as possible but there is zero tolerance for spamming competing businesses, and spamming in general. Spamming is mentioned in the Terms of Use.
