Hi!

I recently bought two 30mw reds for my friends (selling three times the price ) and I got so addicted to them. I really want to purchase one for myself.

So dealextreme recently stopped selling lasers and put them on another site that only takes CC so I thought I could give lazerer.com a go, are they trustable?

My budget is $75-100 and lazerer.com totally fits it - 200mw red for $45, goggle for $28.99 and a battery + charger for $5. That's $80 and it's perfect!

So, can I trust Lazerer.com? Are their goggles working?

EDIT: Saw that o-like.com's goggles are 14.99, which should I go for?

Thanks!

Lazerer actually tests his Lasers and you can buy
a power chart for your Laser....
I bought a 1Watt Blue Rifle Laser with Power Chart
and when I tested it in the shop it was outputting
1071mW...

Oh Yeah... I trust Max at Lazerer....

Recently, Max didn't answer at my direct question if there is a refund for confiscation at customs. Someone knows something more?

Out of 8 mails to him, he hasn't answered a single one for over two weeks, but I hope he will deliver what I have purchased.

Just to point out, Max replied me the next day, he only avoided this specific question.

Well, from legal perspective, he has no responsibility to refund the order, or to resend a laser. As the importer the onus is on you... and I'm pretty sure paypal will side with him automatically, so long as he provides a tracking number.

Of course from a consumer perspective... that sucks.

I don't think the issue has come up yet for him. We'll see what happens when it does.

Rayfoss refunds 50%, with o-like the issue was also always murky, with jetlasers, again, I don't know that the issue ever came up.

I guess if you're worried about customs, pay to have the laser shipped in two parts to minimize risk.

Yes, I know but since there are other companies that apply a partial or total refund, I simply asked ;)

BTW today was arrived the integration to their response:
"According to our shipping policy all the issue caused by custom such as tax and duty, or even confiscated is buyer own risk if they decided to try importing the laser inside their country even though it is baned. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

very honest IMO :)

I recently received a 250mW 650nm Module from Lazerer. Also paid for the power certificate, which shows the laser peaking at 273mW.

I shall do a review of it soon. And I'm happy with Lazerers service.

Well, it's not the greatest policy for buyers... but it is an honest one. Thanks for posting it.

Yea at least he's honest about it. WL claims to give a refund for twice the price if the laser is confiscated but of course the people who have had there lasers confiscated have not received any "twice the price refund".

Twice the price my @$$ LMFAO:crackup: I think most people count themselves lucky to get any refund after dealing with WL.

Hey I have bought lasers from WL and customs took one of them. Lucky for me, WL sent another one free. The other company that I bought from, refused to do anything, saying it was my fault. Had to go through credit card company to get my refund. So yeah, you can make fun of WL, but when the customs take your laser away, WL still rules.

Yup... now if only they sold lasers that were up to spec, and stopped lying:shhh:

I recently bought a 150mW Cyber green from Lazerer. The shipping was very fast about a week. The housing is nice and solid and seems waterproof like it says. My only complaint is the laser leaves the lens at a slight angle not perfectly straight which isnt a big deal to me, it probobly has somthing to do with the focusable lens idk.As far as brightness, beam, dot compaired to a viper 55mW DL laser i own, their is little diffrence. This laser will light a match of course with the 150mW as the DL 55mW will not. All n all, i wont be wandering to far from Dragon Lasers as they in my opinion seen to be best overall.

Today I got the 150mW green module from lazerer. It peaked at 170mW and satteled down at 160mW. Tried my idea on how to get a more stable output and to my suprise the module is now peaking at 220mW and satteling down at 200mW. This all without potmodding! So I´m very happy with it. :)
