Laser reader thing

I am currently new to lasers and been wanting to expand my knowledge on them, i was wondering if you guys could give me good sites or even if ur selling one let me know on the laser wavelength readers i keep seeing people use and use for reviews on lasers.

A spectrometer? They usually run pretty expensive, I'd prioritize getting a Laser Power Meter before you get a spectrometer, unless you have a bunch of unlabled LEDs sitting around that could have some exotic wavelengths.

So, are you looking for a spectromoter or a laser power meter? In the OP I couldn't tell because a lot of people use LPMs in their reviews, but only a couple of people own a spectrometer.

whats the difference between a Spectromoter and a LPM?

LPM messures the output power of a laser.
Spectrometer messures the spectrum of a light source, wavelenth(s)
