I dont know what country you are from, but here in the US when you tell someone it is forbidden they will work extra hard to do it.

Too true, i'd say 3/4 of members here are from countries where lasers are ban.

I'm from France, but I have to agree, I had a friend who got a laser and I gave him two warnings not to do anything stupid, because that's the first thing that comes to mind to juniors, and he did, HE FIRED THE LASER AT A BUS DRIVER !!! I can't imagine what could have happened ! But I think it is better to warn (irresponsible) idiots, because that way, you can not be held responsible indirectly (i.e if you were asked if you made him do it in any way). Furthermore, I believe idiots can be changed with a good amount of education. But yes, in some case some people don't deserve to live...

I can hardly imagine what would happen if she got a respectable laser in the eye (I can but you know what I mean) that would be horrible.
