Laser level stop working

I have a greenlee l97 laser level that I want to get fixed. Can anyone fix this?I am in nj. It's 100 bucks new . How much would the laser be to fix? I don't see any replacement parts

Do you have any specs? How many batteries? Buy a 3v-5v 5mw laser line module from ebay and throw it in there.

Send it back to Greenlee they will repair it, i had a voltage meter from them years ago and they repaired their product

5V batteries? Are you sure? Do you have an example of these? I've never seen nor heard of any batteries that are 5V.

Thanks for everyone replying. I was wrong it's 2 1.5v batteries. I see similar module on ebay but I Ned one with a spring. It goes on and off by turning a knob

Should be plenty of those on eBay with springs... I have seen them all over in green or red. Green would be much more visible as well, but you gotta re-use the optics you got from that set or buy another optic for line output.

Here are the parts , it's 12 or 13mm my 35 mm at the end of the spring. I can't find a red one but green is easy to get. If I get the green what part needs replaced? Also are there any American sites to order from? These are all from China and take about 2 weeks. Ty guys.

I just noticed these things have a runtime of seconds, I need to keep it on for 30 min or more. I'd use it to keep a straight line when installing pipe on a high open ceiling. Are there any types that stay on for that long?
