Laser LBO Frequency Doubler Crystal Optic in Cooling Mount SHG THG /488nm

Its complete set Just add 808nm , Its perfect to make a 488nm :)

OK this is Not for 488nm. This looks like the LBO from a B&Wtek 473nm

i let it go for $40 i will take a picture of the laser color i will add a 808nm :)
i dont have the original parts i remeber tare was a sticker reading 808nm = 473nm and something like temp = 488nm for another temp i throw away the paper this is ware i got the info and i posted it
!

Temperature will affect its efficiency not its Wavelength.

488nm SHG would be a direct double of 976nm AKA my protera in my signature.

If its being pumped with 808nm you have a (Nd:YVO4) and a doubler (possibly LBO) Meaning this is for 473nm NOT 488nm

To any perspective buyers this is not something for beginners Make sure you Know what your doing before Buying this.

Something doesn't smell right. Which IR diode? Driven with what? Driven how hard? Heat sinked with what? Coupled to the MCA how? Do you have a picture of the whole setup with the IR laser in-frame?

its a crystal set from a B&W tek. and its not worth that much. sorry to burst your bubble. it may do 473 if that was what it was cut for, but not without a very well prepared beam. its not so simple.

Hmm, I don't know so much about the well prepared beam. Not all of them had pump correction. Mine doesn't have really any corrective optics. There may be a GRIN lens on the diode - I can't remember, I don't think there was. Other than that it's just a focusing lens and then the crystal set. Of course a nice pump beam helps but it isn't a necessity.

Depends on the age and model of the head, but pretty much all of them have beam re-shaping. You have to phase match the diode, just lining one up with the set isn't enough. I don't think the crystals on these all have HR mirrors either. So it couldn't oscillate anyway as the HR is iirc in one of the corrective lens holders.

Ill take it ;) happily id love to repair this laser

This is a necropost---this thread has been dead for more than a year.

There are alot of companies that can supply crystals for 473nm--just google "473nm laser crystals"
