Laser Classes

Can someone explain how the classes for a user work on here?

The more posts you have, the higher the class.. I can't remember at what point the lower classes changed but I know that 500 is class 3R and 1000 is class 3B..

Like how some websites use a "Star" system or some other naming convention, we use the power of lasers =)
