Hey LPF! I've neglected to share some laser pics with ya'll. Please excuse my absence. It's not you, it's me :p It's been ~6weeks, all pics in this thread were taken in that time frame. Sorry there are so many :) (NOT SORRY, I warned you)
These posts really don't get many likes/comments - and I'd appreciate some feedback from some lurkers out there if you feel so inclined. This forum got me into building (diode) lasers and introduced me to some really cool (and intelligent) people - so I support it by auto-donating and sharing these pics. Let me know what you think.

A couple "interesting" things - I incorporated some EL Wire into some setups. Also, I bought a corner-cube retroreflector which is pretty neat!

Edit: I completely missed SELEM...I really need to get on this forum more!!

If you just NEED more of this stuff, I post very regularly on Instagram, you can find me @laserlewdude.

Much love and LET THERE BE LIGHT!

Damn Lew, it looks like you've been working overtime on your laserporn, thank you for that! :)
They're all sweet, a few of my favorites are 29, 34, 41, & 51 and 53 definitely looks good enough to eat! 🧁🧁🧁

Keep up the good work!

Yup, it's always hard to pic a favorite:unsure:
Image #25 and #35 are my favorite, maby a little simpler but just can't explain it:):)

Let the be light is right, that's a lot of beauty you let loose, appreciate the sharing.

WOW - thanks each and every one of you for the replies. I LOVE hearing what different people find interesting/enjoyable. Hearing back from the 'laser heads' in this forum really makes my day. You guys helped me get started down this road, mostly just lurking for many months, but this place always teaches me new things. I'm going to try to be more active when I can.

Again, thanks so much :)

Hey, Lew. It looks like you got some more toys. Glad you posted these. There seems to be less laser talk than there used to be here. I am never good at picking favorites, though.

I liked the setups album on your flickr showing how this all gets created. I just got into infinity mirror cubes myself, but its hard to beam in them safely or without fogging mirrors. So im fascinated by your incorporations of mirrors versus glass, and refractors in open and closed environments.
Youre using some artifacts as well right? Like glowing ribbon?
Absolutely gorgeous work dude. Sent this to some of my friends and they were blown away as well.

This artwork is truly amazing - you're forging a new medium! Are you able to reveal some of your techniques? I'd love to try some things. Btw, I'm absolutely new to lasers, just got a fog machine and a couple pointers; is there software to draw a simple picture against a wall? Also, I see so many "pieces of lasers" for sale (modules, diodes, Aixiz cases) - is there a good intro kit or tutorial so that I'm not limited to the selection of "finished product" lasers? Last - do you need to worry about burning surfaces? any max wattage I should avoid? Thanks for any info, and thanks for the stunning artwork! I'll definitely be sending some of these links to my friends... -Sol

Thanks for the kind words! I don't mind answering some of your questions. Since most of those answers reside somewhere inside of this forum already (and/or come with hands-on experience), I'll shoot you a DM when I have some free time.
Feel free to make an introduction post in the Welcome section so we all can get to know some more about you / where you're from / who you vote for (only kidding) :D . Welcome to the forum! And thanks again!!
