Hey guys,

What's that little lab arm/hand used to hold lenses and or lasers into a fixed but movable position? I'm trying to find one but I don't even know what it's called.... ::)

Thanks!

I thought you meant like an adjustable optics mount...

Something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220307227567

Or this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390008187001

Or these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280293553099 (actually, that looks like a fantastic deal... hmm...)

Those helping hands are great for holding things while you solder, but as for aligning optics, they have a bit of "play" or "give", and aren't very good for holding anything with any kind of precision or for any real length of time.
