Has anyone disassemble the front bezel of this model?

Hey Steve, this might not be of any help either, but if the PL-E Pro host is assembled like some of their other products, it will require a lot of force to get it apart, probably some heat also; they use a tough epoxy on their threads.
The only time I've seen J/L's come apart easily is when people have ordered just the bare host from them.
I'm not sure how similar the bezel on the PL-E is to the Ti-B, but I have taken many of them apart and none are easy. Here are some pics of the Ti-B disassembled. -Link-

I think I'll leave good enough alone then. The reason I was wondering is there are some specks on the inside of the lens and wanted to clean it. I think if I order another one I'll ask that the front bezel be tighten by hand only for easy access.

Or you might ask JL for repair, much better than damaging your laser.

I did for another reason, the beam is angled.

I forgot to mention the other reason I wanted to gain access was to see if it is practical to change the lens for a longer focal length lens to lower the divergence. There appears to be room to do so.
